Two dozen courses in Beijing

I think of all the meals I've enjoyed none was as momentous as the one I had in Beijing with University Professors who brought on 24 courses during one afternoon.

We sampled everything on a lazy-susan that just kept turning with delicious dishes from the sea. I don't remember half of what I ate that day but I know the fruits and vegetables were prepared with incantations that make my mouth water to this day.
