Is it Scottish or Viennese? I’ll let you decide. If you haven’t the faintest idea what I’m talking about, I’ll give you two hints: First, Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Second, Vienna Secession. Both around the same time. Both with a strong, graphic, often black and white style. Both seemingly obsessed with little black squares. Both brilliant. So which is this? Only your hairdresser knows for sure. But you could also try asking Ethan Dunham, the designer. You could also buy the font from him, I’m sure he won’t mind.
