I designed both these watches. The one on the left was designed for the Jewish Museum of New York based on an ancient tile in their collection. I also designed the “Oy” watch on the right for them as a kind of visual pun--it looks like Hebrew but it’s actually just a normal Latin typeface designed to look like Hebrew.
